Update:

Since taking over as Director of Internal Affairs, Jean Splicer has been much less a social butterfly and much more a recluse. She rarely takes direct action in operations, preferring to assign operatives to deal with rogue Utopians. Internal Affairs is a no nonsense business. And most of Utopia is very wary of Splicer. As a result, Utopia is well on the road to recovering the grace it once had before the scandals.

One of the major, and unpopular, decisions Splicer made was to have outside cooperation with her investigations. This initiative prevents Utopia from being able to cover up major scandals, but shows Utopia dedication to cleansing itself of corruption.

Jean also is doing her best to mentor Julie Kaschek, who Splicer feels responsible for. Although not even twenty, Julie has taken responsibility for many big decisions and her position as Director of Project Hestia all but robs her of the "normal" adolescent experience...
